CHEERLEADING: Program Information & Registration

We are excited to announce a new Cheerleading program to our Organization in 2026!

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Our sideline recreational cheerleading team is designed to provide an introduction to cheerleading for children grades 1st - 8th grade (Fall 2026) and is the heart of game day for the youth football program.  We are committed to our program in providing an environment that:

  • Teaches cheer fundamentals: motions, jumps, chants, and beginner stunts
  • Improves coordination and keeps children active
  • Builds self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Promotes teamwork and sportsmanship both on and off the mat
  • Inclusive environment for all skill levels
  • Most importantly-HAVING FUN!

SEASON INFORMATION & DETAILS

Parent Meeting & Uniform Fitting will be Sunday June 28th, 2026.

Our season runs August 3rd through October 31st.  Practices will be twice per week before school starts and once per week after school starts with games on Saturday running August 22nd - October 31st. (off for labor day weekend). We will use our TeamSnap app for all communications and scheduling.

Included in our all-inclusive cost of the program is:

  • Instruction from Experienced Coaches
  • In season use of Poms, Uniform Shell & Skirt
  • Uniform items to keep, including: Undershirt, Shorts, Socks, Shoes & Bow
  • Team & Individual Athlete Digital Photo
  • Participation in special events, including Youth Night
  • End of Season Party

We ask families to volunteer with game day activities & other associated fundraising events that support our program.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

We make every attempt possible to maintain a low fee for participation.  For the 2026 season, the cost will be $150. (plus applicable TeamSnap processing fees)  In addition, there will be a $100 uniform deposit per participant that will be refunded at the end of the season with the return of your athlete's shell and skirt in clean condition.  We understand that cost is of particular importance.  To assist, we have implemented two payment options for your convenience:

  • Payment in full at the time of registration
  • Installment Plan: Payment of a $25 deposit at the time of registration with 3 additional monthly installment payments, automatically scheduled based on your method of payment with deposit.

Should you have particular hardship, where your player would like to participate but you're unable to pay the reduced deposit, please email president@ugyouthfootball.com in confidence. We will make every attempt possible to ensure that every child that wants to play, can play.
