USA Football

Union Grove Youth Football Organization continues to excel at improving the overall football experience for players in the greater Union Grove area. Established in 2012 and now with 7 years of organizational growth behind us, we are proud of the accomplishments we have achieved in such a short time. The Board of Directors remains committed to continuing our success as an organization, as well as seeing that we continue to make the necessary improvements to keep us moving in a positive direction. Some of the key accomplishments during this time include the following:

· Competed in two different leagues with multiple Super Bowl appearances and overall champions from UGYFO teams.

· Raised the necessary funds to fully equip all teams with high quality equipment by year two.

· Improved the quality of the officiating at our home games to improve on the game day experience for both the players and coaches.

· Provided certified trainers for all home games to help assure the health and well being of all players is monitored by professionals in the health industry.

· Hosted the past years Superbowl games at the high school.

· Continue to maintain financial stability with cash reserves in excess of 1 years' operating costs.

For the 2019 Fall football season we will once again be participating in the South Eastern Youth Football Alliance (SEYFA). It remains a grade-based recreation league that carries the same beliefs and goals that UGYFO was founded on. Not only are we continually striving to become better as an organization, so are they. With input and representation from all active communities including some of your UGYFO board members, much discussion and suggested improvements are being planned. Some of those improvements include the following:

· More teams will qualify for the playoffs in 2019.

· More consistency in referees from each community.

· Competitive balance to avoid programs winning by 40 to 50 points.

So…when do you sign up?

Online registration is currently open, and you can register any time and you should have already received an email in that regards. The registration fee will once again be $250.00 per player (with $100.00 going towards fundraising you can recoup).
